About the game
Frog Paradise is a Club Penguin-based virtual world where players embody a frog. It takes his roots on 2000s social games which united millions of players around the world. Development began in late November-December 2021 [1]. So far, the game is developed by 3 persons.
It currently is in ALPHA 2 since October 16, 2023 moments before the launch of the Halloween Party 2023.
Main features
Frog Paradise has a bunch of features for users to entertain themselves with. The main ones are :
- Chatting - Send messages & emojis via the game's hotbar.
- Teleporting - To rooms using the map.
- Dancing - Using the hotbar button.
- Throwing - Throwing mudballs anywhere.
- Dressing up - Dress your Froggy character with items.
- Capitalizing - Collect coins to purchase items.
- Friending - Accept/decline friend requests sent by other players, or send some.
Future features
- Minigames - Play lonely or with friends to complex games.
- Some small minigames such as Tic-Tac-Toe or Power 4 were released for testing before being removed later on.
- Selling - Players will be able to sell their items.
- Clans/Guilds - Create or join a guild.
- Quests - Small quests for players to complete.
- Housing - Own a house and decorate it.
Weather & Day/Night cycle
Frog Paradise has a peculiar system which plays with the game's lighting.

Time
Based on the current time, the rooms will get darker or brighter to match day and night. At night, lighting objects such as lamps or glowing vegetation glow. In some rooms, the main soundtrack also change at night (such as the Cemetery for instance). The time can be seen on the upper right corner.
Evening is triggered at 20:00, night time at 22:00, morning at 07:00 and day time at 09:00.
30 seconds IRL equal to 10 minutes ingame, which means that 1 ingame day equals to 1h 12min IRL.

Rules
Frog Paradise, like any other game, has its own rules for players to acknowledge when playing. They can be read by sending the command /rules in chat.
1. Be respectful to other Froggys. Any disrespect, toxicity, racism, misogyny will not be tolerated.
2. Do not spam the chat, or use it for advertising.
3. Do not use any kind of hacks or exploits.
4. Do not use offensive names or avatars.
5. Do not use any kind of offensive language.
6. Do not share or ask any personal information.
7. No NSFW or inappropriate content.
8. Do not decompile the game to access the source code/assets.
Any violation of these rules will result in a ban.
